If you are a Norwegian citizen, we recommend using Vipps to log in as it automatically provides 2FA authentication, making the login process much more convenient. For non-Norwegian citizens, we suggest logging in with AppleID, Google or Microsoft, which also offers 2FA authentication. Alternatively, you can log in using your email and password, but in such cases, we strongly recommend enabling 2FA authentication under your profile settings for added security.
If 2FA is not enabled then many important functionalities are disabled for security reasons.
Two Factor Authentication (2FA) is an additional security element we have added to Divako. 2FA works in many ways like your bankID, where you need both a personal password and a one-time code to log in. In order for someone with administrator rights in Divako to have access to all tabs and services, we have made it a requirement that they set up 2FA for their user. This is because an administrator has access to a lot of data, some of which can be considered sensitive information. Among other things, you will find here personal information about users and residents. By using two-step verification when logging in, the chances of information ending up astray have been drastically reduced, as it is not possible to log in without having access to both the password and the user's mobile phone. So if you as an administrator find that you are missing some modules or services you should have, check that you have 2FA activated.
Although this is only a requirement for administrators, we recommend that everyone enable 2FA for increased security. If you do not already have an application (app) or service for verification, we recommend Google Authenticator. The app is available for both iPhone through the App Store and Android through Google Play. Note that you do not need to have a Google account to use Google Authenticator.
If you already have another app for two-step verification, you can use this one.
Once you have installed the app, you can open it and click on "Scan a QR code", you must then find the QR code for your user. You do this by going to app.divako.no and logging in to your user.
Click on your name in the top right corner and click on Profile in the drop down. You then get all the information about your user, and on the left you have a menu called two-step verification. When you press into that menu, you will have a green button with the text "Activate two-step verification". This gives you the QR code that you have to scan with your phone. When you scan the code, a link is automatically created between your user and the app. To verify that everything was correct, you are asked to enter a six-digit code in Divako, this is the code you now see on your phone in Google Authenticator. Enter the code and finish the process, you have now activated two-step verification and if you are an administrator you will now have all your access.
When you now try to log into Divako, you will be asked to enter a code after you have entered your password, you can find this code by opening the app. Note that the code is updated every 20 seconds and turns red when it is nearing its end. It may then be a good idea to wait until a new code is generated so that you do not enter an old code.
If you receive a message that your username or password is incorrect, and you're sure you've entered it correctly, there are two things you can try.
If this doesn't work, send us an email at support@divako.no, and we'll assist you.
If you experience a white screen, or that login fails, it can be necessary to delete stored data in your browser. Depending on your device and browser there are different ways of performing this. Under we have listed the most common browsers.
